Well of course, the right wing republicans are always criticizing socialists. One of the few remaining allies we have left, and Mitt shows how he's going to treat them if he becomes POTUS. Between Shrub and Romney's stupidity, the U.S. will be without any credibility in foreign relations, except with maybe China. China is Romney's buddy. They give him all the cheap labor he wants for his corporate businesses. Unemployment will be twice as bad if Mitt wins in November. Stupid fukin cons.

You are a moron. He said exactly what the news agencies said a week go, but of course Romney (in your clouded eyes) is trying to destroy relations with England. You need an enema to rid yourself of the crap in your brain.

lol lol lol (for goph)

Romney treated them quite fairly.

Obama generally has made us laughing stocks in the world. He has emboldened our enemies.

Extreme liberal thinking is just plain wrong!

Barry already did that when he insulted them by returning Winston Churchill's bust.

I'll suggest to you, GOP, the same as I suggested to Carygrant. Just follow the near daily news stories on BBC dot com about the management screwups and security issues around this Olympics. Romney has direct and successful experience in running one of these.

It is hard for me to envision any U.S. POTUS being more offensive than Obama has been towards the British, starting with that totally clueless "gift" to the Queen and the insult of tossing the bust of Winston Churchill out of the Oval Office.

This clueless clod is an embarassment to America.

I don't think Obama has too many fans outside the libs in the US.

Don't be silly. He's already been endorsed by Pravda, Hugo Chavez, and the Castro Brothers. I expect he will be endorsed shortly by Hezbollah, North Korea, and France.

As John Mc Enroe said ,
You cannot be serious !!!!!!
A private company failed to provide sufficient number of security helpers -- so immediately the British Army stepped in with each soldier being worth ---- what ? Ten times each missing civilian . More ? Twenty times ? More ?
If that's a problem , God help us all if something serious ever arrives .

There is News . And there is nonsense couched as News to fill a space .

[/URL]CARL LEWIS ON MITT ROMNEY --- SOME AMERICANS SHOULD NEVER LEAVE THEIR OWN COUNTRY

Mr Romney's (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/mitt-romney) London trip has been filled with a series of missteps, starting with an NBC interview in which he questioned Britain's readiness to host the Olympics.

His comments drew a sharp rebuke from David Cameron. His performance was seriously criticised by the media and politicians alike.

Lewis, who is generally regarded as one of the greatest Olympians of all time - winning gold medals from 1984 to 1996, told The Independent newspaper as Michelle Obama arrived in London to lead the US delegation: "Every Olympics is ready, I don't care whatever he [Romney] said. I swear, sometimes I think some Americans shouldn't leave the country. Are you kidding me, stay home if you don't know what to say."

Right. that is what Mitt was talking about. Glad that we agree for once.

So how does that rank for triviality ?
We had a scenario that was solved on the spot .
Was it therefore a problem?
No . it was something that emerged in the rehearsal period and was put right .
I repeat . God help you if something ever serious happens .
Oh . It did . 9/11 . The biggest mess up ever .

As a contract attorney I believe that it is a big deal if a contractor delivers one-half of what he agreed to, especially for a critical task such as security for the Olympics.

Not sure why you felt the need to invoke 9-11.

I do agree that Romney should have stayed out of this. I understand that, having run a successful Olympics and knowing a lot about how it should be done, he just couldn't resist commenting. Still, it was a gaffe albeit a minor one to most Americans.

A real politician would have just made some silly comment about how great it is.

But I understand the Brit's reaction. I can call my brother an idiot, but if you do it, I will break your nose.

I see you're up to your usual standard. Some British are intelligent and thoughtful. Then there are others. Some are crude, stupid, and seemingly quite mad. Not you of course. Lordy, no. I wouldn't want to hurt your feelings.

Not even the hard left is going to give a crap about what the Brits think when it comes to our elections. As it should be. Let them whine. Go shag the queen- she would love it.
