A Central Texas man believes he found a chupacabra on his farm, but experts aren’t buying it.
Philip Oliveira, of Rockdale, found the animal May 31 on his ranch — about 50 miles west of College Station — with the help of friends Rocky Howe and Richard Cook, according to The Austin American-Statesman (http://www.mystatesman.com/news/news/local/is-the-animal-carcass-in-a-cooler-a-chupacabra/nmrPZ/?ecmp=statesman_social_twitter_2014_sfp#fcc1e351.2 57273.735782).
They found the animal by a creek after hearing dogs barking “like I had never heard them bark,” Oliveira told the American-Statesman.
“It’s too big for a coyote,” Oliveira told the newspaper.
