Another American uninspired game ( Ball in the Hoop , Children) . But this time for Height Freaks .
If you are under 195 cms ( six feet and five inches) , go play marbles .
Other sports like Boxing , Judo , Wrestling , Weight lifting are divided into weight categories so that the sport is inclusive .
But Basket ball is reserved for Height Freaks .
Go Home Height Freaks until we can all join in .

The US men's basketball team are hot favourites to retain Olympic gold in London.
Twenty years ago the Olympics decided to allow professional players to compete - the result was the so-called dream team from the US, led by the legendary Michael Jordan, since then only in 2004 have the team failed to win gold.
The current team, including NBA star Koby Bryant, is hoping to follow in their footsteps.
The team's latest title effort will begin with a game against France on Sunday.

Al Jazeera's Andy Richardson reports from London.

Lost the mental link but are you admitting that you are on Gnashers rather than your original ones ?
If you are American you will be shunned if that news goes viral --- assuming you are Mister Gummy .

Why does the Olympics let professional athletes participate?

Because it's not about the sport or spirit, it's about drawing an audience.

Most of the games allow only amateurs. Of course it is a loaded term.

Right - there is no professional pole vaulting or whatever.

What about curling? Those canucks are pros, I think.

No, the Olympics specifically allows professional athletes to compete in basketball.
