"Regretfully, we were informed by our friends from the American headquarters of (trade union federation) AFL-CIO, which represents more than 12 million employees ... that Mitt Romney supported attacks on trade unions and employees' rights," Solidarity said in a statement.

"Solidarity was not involved in organizing Romney's meeting with Walesa and did not invite him to visit Poland."

LOL, who thinks Romney will get the union vote anyway?

Looks like he & Ann got a warm welcome. Lots of polish descendants in the swing states, ya know?

I'm not sure Gov. Romney wants union support. It would be rather like having Pravda, Hugo Chavez, and the Castro Brothers endorsing you. Lech Walesa did endorse Gov. Romney. He's probably still a little miffed at the great statesman President Obama for cancelling the missile defense system without telling the host country, Poland. Unfortunately, President Obama has no use for any country that supports the U.S.

Screw unions. Drive them out of our schools and our government and that will be the end of them.

I'm getting used to the idea of saying, "President Romney." He will be a vast improvement over The Kenyan.

According to the Mother; you know the person who actually gave birth to Barack, was born August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Would you believe your mother if she told you what day you were born? I'm guessing young Barack wasn't writing a book the second he popped out free of mom. Therefore, believe whatever you want ... but the fact still remains ... Barack Obama is the 44th President of The United States ... sport. :)

BTW ... if you're in the business of Nut Jobs ... I have just the Job for you. :)

As an outsider , I imagine that the apparent lack of inter personal good manners displayed by so many Americans is just one of many indications of a crumbling national character -- its balance and coherence .
The links between food side effects to obesity , and the production of defined hormones leading to mental instability and violence based behaviour , seem to be well established .
Not a subject that Americans seem very keen to acknowledge , judging by the deafening silence in mainstream media .

Obesity in Great Britain has skyrocketed in the last 25 years.

You may be onto something. And to expand, our national character has bifurcated. Sure, we still have one group that has our independent spirit, self-reliance, and love of family and community. On the other side we have people who have abandoned these ideas and have moved left towards dependency and love of government programs and flirt dangerously with some of the concepts of socialism, communism, and fascism. America truly has two national identities operating inside the nation-state.

Some people don't understand the difference between a U.S. citizen and an American.
