Goosed into action by an angry federal judge, federal immigration authorities will go door-to-door demanding illegal immigrants return the three-year amnesty approvals the Obama administration (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/barack-obama/) issued to them in defiance of a court order.
Those who don’t return their three-year permits will have them terminated at the end of this month, the National Immigrant Justice Center, one of the advocacy groups briefed on authorities’ plan, said in a statement preparing immigrants for what could be a traumatic encounter.
The move comes as Homeland Security officials, fed up with slow-walking by illegal immigrants, are finally playing hardball after months of less forceful measures.
They’re scrambling to meet an end-of-month deadline set by Judge Andrew S. Hanen (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/andrew-s-hanen/) for recapturing thousands of three-year amnesties the department issued even after the court (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/un-court/) had entered an injunction halting the new amnesty program.
Unless all of the permits are recovered, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/jeh-johnson/) could personally have to appear in court to explain the foul-up, Judge Hanen (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/andrew-s-hanen/) said in an order earlier this month.

I understand people will crossover and don't blame them, I would as well. But we need to get a hold of this process. My biggest frustration is how its used unreasonably by both parties as a wedge issue. The people I have the biggest problem with are the Mexican groups and the ACLU for supporting absolute anarchy on the problem not willing to do anything that resembles following our laws. It is despicable. I feel like it is the groups position that it is Mexico's territory and they have a right to it.............Hey its 2015 not 1820, you lost there are borders.

Latest statistics is that one third of Mexico's population now resides illegally in the United States.

Well, let's see. Wikipedia puts total Mexico population @

2015 estimate
121,736,809[4] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico#cite_note-4) (11th (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_population))

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico#Demographics - So, 1/3 of that = ~40,579,000. & that's just Mexicanos. Unfortunately for this exercise, the total estimated population without documents in the US runs about 12,000,000:

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration_to_the_United_States

"The illegal immigrant population of the United States (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigrant_population_of_the_United_States) in 2008 was estimated by the Center for Immigration Studies (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Center_for_Immigration_Studies) to be about 12 million people, down from 12.5 million people in 2007.[4] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration_to_the_United_States#cite_note-nytimes-4) Other estimates range from 7 to 30 million.[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration_to_the_United_States#cite_note-csmonitor-5)[6] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration_to_the_United_States#cite_note-6)[7] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration_to_the_United_States#cite_note-7) According to a Pew Hispanic Center (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pew_Hispanic_Center) report, in 2012, 52% of illegal immigrants were from Mexico; 26% were from other Latin American (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin_America) countries, primarily from Central America;[8] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration_to_the_United_States#cite_note-Estimates_from_PHC-8) 12% were from Asia; 5% were from Europe and Canada; and 3% were from Africa and the rest of the world.[8] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration_to_the_United_States#cite_note-Estimates_from_PHC-8)"

(My bold)

Even taking 78% of the total as being Hispanic, you still only get 4,680,000 - far short of the Brown Peril your source - whatever it may be - is puffing up.

I don't care why the illegals come here.

Some are not totally bad people but none of them have a right to be here.

Maybe some will be allowed to stay as part of a compromise with the leftwing.

But only after the border is sealed and no more are able to come here without permission.

And no illegal alien should ever be allowed citizenship.

The 12 million estimate is a lowball number.

Others put the total at 25-30 million.

Its not used as wedge issue anymore, it started out with Reagan creating the cheap labor his rich buddies wanted with 3million given amnesty. That morphed into democrats vieing for the hispanic vote so they took their back. Now its survival, theyve BOTH allowed it to go on so long and the numbers are so huge they both need the vote

Reagan did not "give" 3 million illegal aliens amnesty.

He signed a bipartisan bill passed by congress that mandated tough reforms along with the amnesty.

But then congress never kept its part of the deal.

Malarkey, I was an adult following politics closely. I remember well reagan pushing amnesty EXACTLY like Obama bushed the Trade Bill. It was ALL reagan just like this trade bill was all Obama
