GOP REPORT FINDS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN WHITE HOUSE AND ‘FAST AND FURIOUS’

Despite insistence from GOP leadership that the White House was behind the so-called “Fast and Furious” gunwalking program, a report from House Republicans released Tuesday names five officials at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms as culprits in the misguided effort. All five were reassigned before the release of the report — the first of three. The indictments in the report contradict House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-OH) insistence that the President invoked executive privilege over the Justice Department’s information on ongoing investigations to protect his personal interests. The indication, however, is that the upcoming reports will try to tie the President to the program. It will “address the unprecedented obstruction of the investigation by the highest levels of the Justice Department, including the attorney general himself,” according to the Republicans who wrote the report.

You want to quote the rest of it now, the part about Holder's obstructionism?

I didn't think so. Stink Progress probably left that out and you're too gullible to notice.

This account, Scathing GOP report on 'Fast and Furious' blames five ATF officials (http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/241191-scathing-gop-report-on-fast-and-furious-blames-five-atf-officials), says nothing of the sort, cigar.
The report was compiled with the intention of looking at the problems surrounding “Fast and Furious” through the lens of the U.S. attorney’s office and the ATF.

The second of the three reports is expected to look at the alleged breakdown in management within Department of Justice headquarters with a special focus on the deputy attorney general’s office and the DOJ’s criminal division.

The final report is set to “address the unprecedented obstruction of the investigation by the highest levels of the Justice Department, including the attorney general himself” and “can only be prepared after the Justice Department fulfills its obligations to cooperate with the Congress and produce documents.”

I'm sure the GOP is more than will to spend more tax dollars and time doing investigations rather than work for American Jobs.

That's OK ... we didn't expect anything more and we surely won't expect any results.

Cigar can lie by omission and commission if it serves his masters. I'm shocked the Republicans didn't get tired of sending jobs to reduce unemployment to the Senate where Senator "Constipation" Reid bottled them up even sooner. I know it pains Cigar to see his masters investigated and getting caught.

"
WASHINGTON - New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress."

Cigar prefers using extreme left-wing sources so they can do his lying for him. He thinks that makes him pure. CBS News is on the left and ThinkProgress is an extreme left propaganda site. It's so far to the left that Eric Holder has no connection to the White House. Eric Who?

You called it right MC.....Moreover Katie Pavlich was the investigating Reporter on this issue and has the Best Seller on the Market about Fast and Furious. She also has all the facts and inlcliding when Holder and Obama brought out the Spinner for the New Brand of Twister they play.....

Yesterday Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Darrell Issa and Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Charles Grassley issued a 211-page report and more than 2,000 documents, pinning much of the blame for Operation Fast and Furious on five ATF supervisors. This is the first in a series of three reports expected to be released.

In yesterday’s document dump, an email from former Arizona U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke, the man responsible for overseeing Fast and Furious on the ground level in Phoenix on behalf of the Department of Justice, shows there was discussion about Holder in relation to Fast and Furious......snip~

Katie is the one with the straight dope on the matter and things are not looking very good for Mr Holder now that they discovered another 10k documents which Holder apparently did know about.

Next!.....another Democratic Spin the Dial on Twister Debunked.
