Basically it's a drone. Supposed to be carrier based.
What I gather is what's new is the drone pilots can program it to fly autonomously and handle various contingencies.

I fear we'll end up with most of the drones enforcing a police state over America is Barky gets his way. His love of those things is building up to something, and it can't be good.

Yeah, that's a thought, I was just thinking neat technology, and how much government depends on private innovation and industry, but the political uses of this technology is another matter.
Any drones developed by the federal govt. will end up flying over America. Screw that.
