A new Brookings Institution/Tax Policy Center study finds Mitt Romney's plan to overhaul the tax code would produce cuts for the richest 5% of Americans .

.....

"His rate-cutting plan for individuals would reduce tax collections by about $360 billion in 2015, the study says. To avoid increasing deficits -- as Romney has pledged -- the plan would have to generate an equivalent amount of revenue by slashing tax breaks for mortgage interest, employer-provided health care, education, medical expenses, state and local taxes, and child care -- all breaks that benefit the middle class."

I'm sure you're going to post the data to back up your talk.

Right here is your answer.....Next! Another of the Lefts Twister Spin, DEBUNKED!

You don’t need an economics degree to understand the plan. It is as straightforward as it is innovative: Romney’s proposal would change the tax rate on interest, dividends, and capital gains to zero percent, allowing middle class Americans whose combined salary and investment income is $200,000 per year or less to save and invest tax-free.
According to the campaign, 95 percent of American households earn less than $200,000 a year and therefore stand to reap tangible benefits from the proposal.
If such a policy had been in place in 2005, 56 million taxpayers who earned interest, 28 million taxpayers who earned dividends, and 23 million taxpayers who earned capital gains would have paid zero taxes on their savings and investments. In 2004, the median income for a family of four fell into the $50,000 to $75,000 tax bracket—and that income group paid over $796 million in capital gains taxes. Under the Romney plan, that income group would have paid nothing. Romney’s plan also offers help to homeowners and would-be homeowners. Tax-free savings will assist current homeowners in meeting their mortgage payments; it will also accelerate the rate at which future homeowners can save for their first down payment.

Oh, is Bush still in the White House?

His plan was to stimulate the economy. And Obama's plan?

To stimulate the government. On that basic, Obama is clearly the more successful of the two.

"NOWHERE, in this act of propaganda meant to tee-up Obama's latest round of anti-Romney lies, does Epstein mention the fact that this so-called "nonpartisan" study so devastating to Romney is co-authored by someone who, until last year, worked in the Obama White House.Adam Looney is one of three authors of this study and, between 2009-10, he was the senior economist for public finance and tax policy with the President’s Council of Economic Advisers (http://www.brookings.edu/experts/looneya.aspx)."

Ah, yes, the Looney Report by a paid shill for President Obama whose "nonpartisan study" is being hussled by the unpaid shill for President Obama, Cigar.

You know, the left just can't get it that when they pull stuff like this, they are going to get outed now. They are used to the salad days when the drive by media hid all their stuff for them.

Why do you think they are trying to censor the internet? Because they know that if they can shut this down, the MSM will continue to take care of them.

Sometimes I think Cigar is really a con pretending to be a lib because his arguments are soooooo easy to debunk...almost like he wants them debunked.
Also with his grammar and spelling being so poor he actually makes libs look stupid, which if he was a con would make sense...because they are...LMFAO!!!

Some tax increase is inevatable...after all we have to start to reduce Barry's screw-ups and begin to balance the budget.
