Kathy Davis, former Indiana lieutenant governor, has resigned as U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly's campaign treasurer because of his vote to defund Planned Parenthood.
Davis confirmed her reasonings for departing the campaign in an email Wednesday to the Indianapolis Star. She served in the volunteer role for four years.
"Yes, I have left my position as Treasurer for Senator Donnelly's campaign and yes, it is because of his vote to defund Planned Parenthood," Davis said in the email.
