The US has fallen to 20th.

Here's some quotes:

“Freedom in
our usage
is a social
concept that
recognizes the
dignity of
individuals
and is
defined by
the absence
of coercive
constraint.”

“Economic
freedom is
not just
inherently
valuable; it
empowers
individuals to
exercise other
freedoms.”

“The rule
of law is an
essential
condition of
freedom that
protects the
individual
from coercion
by others.”

Those rankings don't surprise me.

All the talk about the US being the "home of the free" is propaganda basically. Our "capitalist" culture is designed to keep a marginal minority wealthy and in power.

We really have limited freedoms here and they're vanishing by the second.

In the table of all the countries I am not able to find Russia and I was curious to see in what position they were.

And according to this index, economic freedom of Denmark is lower than Finland. Weird, I always considered Denmark the most liberal of the Nordic countries.

Ranking is by given criteria.

Look! The libertarians can move to Hong Kong!

Of course, no one will listen to them to here either.

Yeah, I'm alright with that.

So we need you Canadians to tell us what we can do to be free!
