I've done the same thing, moving a turtle out of the road, but on side streets, not on a busy road like the one where she killed. It is dangerous. Sometimes you just have to let nature take it's course and keep driving.

The girl was young and apparently a compassionate person, who wanted to do the right thing and save an animal from dying.

Her youthful naivety apparently didn't make her realize the dangers of doing that on a busy road.
