Purple Strategies--which surveys likely voters only--now shows President Obama ahead in the swing state of Colorado, 49 percent to 46 percent. That is up slightly from a 45-44 edge in July.
However, Purple Strategies also shows Mitt Romney ahead in the swing states of Virginia (48-45); Ohio (46-44); and Florida (48-47). These numbers represent a slightly widening lead in Virginia, since last month; but a slightly narrowing lead in Ohio and Florida.
