Ryan has tough words for China, contradicting 2010 vote

CANTON, OH -- In his first remarks touching foreign policy since becoming Mitt Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan had tough words for China in this manufacturing-heavy battleground state...

He continued, "President Obama promised he would stop these practices. He said he’d go to the mat with China. Instead, they’re treating him like a doormat. We’re not going to let that happen. Mitt Romney and I are going to crackdown on China cheating. We’re going to make sure that trade works for Americans."

Yet there's one hitch to Ryan's tough words on China, especially as it relates to currency manipulation: The congressman, in 2010, voted against legislation to crack down on China's currency manipulation.

Indeed, Ryan was one of 74 Republicans who voted against this legislation that easily passed the House that year; the legislation never made it out of the Senate.

I really do think Republicans don't believe in records. :)

Obama's the doormat. Just another instance of him not keeping promises.

Don't use the word Boy when referring to a man. Remember the past.

Stop worrying , Obama is keeping every promise he has ever made to Bejing .
He has no options .
And neither has anybody else who sits in the White House.

America can play out a game for Americans and anybody else who has nothing better to watch and listen to .
But it's all bluster .
Bejing rules because that is the price of Bankruptcy .

Only one problem, Americans are strong people and will survive and not cave in like the ones in England.

The power of the Han Chinese has already weakened the Blue Model of Society and Govt. in America by disempowering American workers and their unions. To this extent the Chinese are unwitting allies of the domestic American forces who oppose leftism.

These gems of yours are absolutely riveting .
Do you make them up whilst you are cooking or are they God inspired?

How was it we outperformed every major country in the Olympics in terms of Golds and all medals , per capita ?
From memory by around plus 400% versus the Americans -- whom , without swimming , would have been humiliated .
God knows what will happen when we learn how to survive !!!!!!!

My concern is his keeping his promises to Americans. And it's not worry, as I'd prefer he not keep any of them.

That's the solidly Democrat controlled Senate you are talking about, right, Cigar.
