WASHINGTON—Some Hillary Clinton donors are defecting to Joe Biden (http://topics.wsj.com/person/B/Joe-Biden/6352), resisting entreaties from the Democratic front-runner’s campaign to stand by her despite slipping poll numbers.

A few of the fundraisers have gone public with their presidential preference. Others have quietly decamped and signaled their intentions to the Draft Biden 2016 super PAC that is working to prod the vice president into the race for the White House.

“Instead of being ready for Hillary, we’re waiting for Joe,” said Bill Bartmann, the founder and chief executive of CFS2 Inc., and onetime donor to Mrs. Clinton’s friendly super PAC. Mr. Bartmann’s switch in allegiance prompted one Clinton campaign official to contact him and ask: “Why are you doing this?” he said.

Biden doesn't appear too willing to enter the race.

But seriously, who in their right mind would want that absolute moron to be POTUS?

I think you're on to something there. He could very well be the Democrats version of Trump. Both thrive on buffoonery.

The point is how unexcited the dem base is about Hillary. Also, it is excitement that brings people to the polls. Obama had that affect on voters she does not. Turnover will be down.

So youre scared of Biden... noted.

Or youre a simpering ass who has no faith in your candidates.... noted.

I would take a feckless moron over a loony socialist (Sanders) or a corrupt liar (Clinton) or a narcissistic bully (Trump).

The Congress could keep him in check from really screwing things up worse than they already are.

I dont want any of those people and our congress doesn't have the guts to keep them in check and if they did, the public doesn't have the will to make them.
