Yeah, there is no doubt that Congress should have passed a Constitution Amendment authorizing public healthcare spending by the federal government.

Dirty little secret, everyone had access to healthcare before..........This could have never had an impact on saving HC money by shifting things around and creating another bureaucracy to manage it.....

Over the short-term, it wouldn't. It would be an enormous investment that would ideally be paid for with general tax hikes.

Over the long-term, however, the savings are well-established.
