Making fun of Star Wars... and Star Wars fans?

Really?

I can forgive racist dog whistles.
I can forgive the mangling of facts in the Spin Machine.
I can forgive the constant, unremitting, bedwetting hysteria over everything under the sun.

I cannot forgive this.

And I suspect that Fox News just lost several million viewers.

And that airhead bimbo that gets confused between Star Wars and Star Trek? Her bust size is obviously larger than her IQ. Where do they find these people? Seriously!

Facts on the so called bimbo airhead.

She is definitely a beauty with a brain and she has proved it time to time. Her immense talent has made her one of the most loved ever and one of the most desired ever. She is none other than the very beautiful Jedediah Bila. She was born in the year 1979 on 29th of January and this makes her age 36 at this time. At this age there is nothing she has not achieved as a TV host and more than that she has been an outstanding radio host as well. She was born in a place called Brooklyn, which lies in New York of United States of America. She belongs to the ethnicity white and nationality American. She has always shined in the TV shows she has been a part of.

She graduated from Columbia and has taught school from grade to the university.

Educated doesn't have to mean smart.

Plus comment like "space nerds" and telling people she's been "too busy being pretty" just aren't indicative of a good personality.

And she is a bimbo. She never saw Star Wars? I'm sorry, but she is supposed to be a commentator on life in Murica and is not familiar with one of the major cultural memes of the century? Really?

And that skirt is just a bit too short; were she working in a office I managed I would send her home to change. Bimbo. Pretty sure she got her job with T&A.

When Star wars came out, what was her age at the time? How many women actually are enamoured by such fakery?

I have the star wars DVDS but that would not qualify me for dog catcher.

She is brilliant. She was the valedictorian at the university.

Funny you don't like her.

She was two years old when the Star Wars came out. No doubt she was enjoying life with her father teaching her for many years. She gives him thanks on her site.

The first film in the series, Star Wars (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_(film)) (later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope), was released on May 25, 1977 by 20th Century Fox (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20th_Century_Fox) and became a worldwide pop culture (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popular_culture)

This is indeed true. That woman is just a bit too much: "I was just too busy liking cool things and being attractive"? Wow. Yeah, that's going to get you a ton of dates- with the wrong guys. AllI can say is this, it's a good thing she's pretty. That's about all I can see anyone having a reason to have anything to do with her.

That said, I don't see what was necessarily so bad about the discussion in the video.

Luckily Fox News viewers are too serious and rooted in reality to care much about the fantasy world of hollywood.

So no one really cares if its starvwars or star trek.

Well to be completely blunt and honest about it....

Star Wars has had a major cultural impact on not only this country, but the entire world. But the story it tells is actually nothing new. It is the "Ur" story, originally told around fires in caves, of good versus evil, the Heroes Journey, and of the eventual redemption of evil. It is the Great Story that Joseph Campbell recounts and analyzes in "The Power of Myth" and "The Hero's Journey."

If you have not read those books, you should.

George Lucas simply updated Campbell and added starships and explosions. And he did so very, very, VERY well.

If you style yourself as any kind of social critic at all you will have HAD to have seen these movies, and analyzed them. And as far as social critics go, if this bimbo on Fox proudly proclaims that she hasn't seen any of the films she is just another tits-and-ass phony, with as much gravitas as Depak Chopra.

When Joseph Campbell lived, he had a lecture series on PBS and I saw many of his lectures. I have seen lectures by Chopra as well.

For some reason, you can't accept that she is very intelligent as well as a stunning beauty.

Now, from your high lofty perch, you assume the world should have seen the Lucas fiction, but some of the public were too busy being infants and later spent time in a university becoming the valedictorian. She was the latter.

You tried to reduce a very nice person to body parts. I really am not in favor of misogynists.
