Funny. pitiful and all too true. Any semblance of journalistic integrity died in 2007.

That's a totally ignorant post. Evidently you don't understand the role of journalists.

That was great. The only thing those Democrats heard was "FREE".

Instant Classic!

Of course conservatives already knew where we stood with the lame stream media, but that was priceless (pun intended)...;)

Of course Cigar understand the role of journalists in the Workers Paradise. It's to support the socialist government and promote the propaganda they're given. But, you were totally correct that it was a totally ignorant, and typical, post for Cigar. Next he'll be claiming Republicans are jealous of "Union Thugs for Obama".

Other t-shirts on sale are "Abortionists for Obama", "Deadbeats for Obama", "Pedophiles for Obama", "Tax Exempt Citizen for Obama". But my personal favorite is the more honest, "Socialists for Obama."

nothing wrong with free t-shirts

They're good for wearing to bed

I have a t-shirt from the local Democrat party which I use as a shop rag. Free is good and I'll take it

One of the best sweatshirts I ever had was one given to me by my Cisco sales rep. Heck, I once had at least 6-7 long sleeve shirts from network vendors, sweatshirts, windbreaker jackets, polo shirts, t-shirts, but never pants. I almost had the entire vendor-ware going for my wardrobe

Sec: "nothing wrong with free t-shirts"

Sadly, for those voting for President Obama, again, there is nothing wrong with everything being free....for them.

Don't leave out "Minority Set Aside Government Contractors For Obama."

Those are the best handouts. You can get one, live in a big house with a lot of toys and spend your "work" days spamming conservative internet boards.

that makes for an interesting conversation. What brought us as a nation to that point? When did we change from an era of personal responsibility and replace it with entitlement?

I think it really got going with Roosevelt and was really expanded in the sixties.

Like all entitlement societies, this one has created more and more dependents and fewer and fewer contributors. Hence it is awash in a sea of red ink on which a sinking economy floats every more precariously.

I've asked myself why the decline and fall of the U.S., which is following the script of history so well, is occurring so rapidly. The answer for me lies in that which Toffler identified decades ago, the rapidly increasing velocity of information which spreads decay faster and faster.

The issue isn't so much a partisan one, it's a credibility one.

Fascinating matter here, this suggests that there is a (significant) segment of our population who prefer to be fed news and opinion that they would prefer to hear rather than get an objective, unbiased reporting.

It also, to some degree, explains why hack sites like Breitbart and KOS are so popular.

Ah but the injection of one-sided partisanship into much of the so-called Main Stream Media is a partisan matter. What they seem to be accomplishing more and more is destroying their own credibility.

It started with FDR but it was LBJ who got it going gangbusters and Richard Nixon added to the problem.
