There has never been a presidential campaign where an "influential" ideologically driven political magazine devoted it's entire content to bashing the leading candidate of the party the magazine supports. It is a big deal, although the "internet age" of constant pointless drivel does mitigate the impact.

These clowns are about 4 months too late. Not only does it smack of desperation, it actually HELPS Trump.

Smart establishment cons are beginning to align with Trump (mostly because they hate Calgary Ted).

And does ANYONE still listen to the likes of Bill Kristol, Glenn Beck, or Brent Bozell anymore?

Glen Beck is the father of the Tea Party, so yes he is a big hitter. He has an entire network from TV to Print to radio and is well trenched in the right's process. He is a player. They rest are smaller bit players that most conservatives align somewhat.

Sal Russo is the godfather of the Tea Party ... and he didin't even know the monstrosity he was creating when he painted a bus in a constitution motif and set-off to fund-raise for conservatism after Bush destroyed it ...

By the way, Dick Armey would actually be considered the Godfather of the Tea Party ... only emerging after being deemed a loon by Bush and the neocons way back in 2003 ... about the time Cruz was a Bush neocon.

The Tea Party is nothing more than a realm for grifters with Palin the only one who ever made millions for her personal self.

Not sure if Palin is the only one who made millions selling pablum to Baggers.

For instance, Jim DeMint cashed in big when he took over The Heritage Foundation!

Well one thing we can be very assured of; far more viewers will tune into the Republican debates than the meaningless side show DNC debates.

It must mean people are really aligned with the DNC this year. ::wink wink::

For instance, Jim DeMint cashed in big when he took over The Heritage Foundation!Jim Demint had a total net worth of about $70,000 with debts in the hundreds of thousands of dollars by the time he exited politics to go to Heritage ... LOL

I think the biggest losers of them all was Tancredo and Matt Kibbe ... with Dick Armey actually bursting-into the Freedom Works offices to confront Kibbe with a gun ...

LOL

Being critical of conservatives who legally make money is laughable when Hillary and Bill have got richer off illegal, corrupt activities. Consider Marc Rich (no pun intended), the Clinton Foundation activities, speaking engagements etc. Returned favors especially by Hillary are frequent.

Trump will deal with National Review.

So, his lack of being corrupt is a bad thing?

When a Democrat goes to Washington with a small net worth, they leave as a multi millionaire.

Got the names of those Dems who voted to shut-down the govt to near Sovereign Default almost causing a global economic crisis that would have been worse than Bush's economic collapse and giving us a govt. more aligned with communism (austerity and sequestration) ?

I find it odd that exo is upset that a politician went to Washington DC with little net worth and left with little net worth.

The left has even made up this fairy tale that the Clinton's left the White House poorer than they were when they arrived.

These people are effing weird.

I have to laugh hysterically at this dimwitted leftist talking point; every time you fools erupt with it, it becomes more doom and gloomier each time.

Nothing can be more ignorant and moronic than claiming that a temporary shutdown of Government, exacerbated by a pompous, petulant, childlike President trying to force his agenda down Congress throat, would cause a global calamity that which the world has never seen.

And you wonder why people point at you and laugh? :biglaugh:

Yeah, it only cost the US 24 billion dollars plus higher interest rates due to the credit downgrade.

the Democrats then controlled the executive and legislative branches of government and they blame the minority for their failures. Par for the course

i guess they believe that if someone threatens suicide and follows through, it's the fault of the person who failed to prevent it.
