There are varying degrees of Socialism, not just Communism. In fact, there are forms of Socialism that are actually quite Conservative/Libertarian. It seems like a lot of people throw the word "Socialism" around without a really basic, fundamental knowledge of the different forms it comes in.

And no, Obama is not a Socialist.

Well, you know. It's all happening right under the "sheeple's" noses. And by the time those in the know, those clever enough to know Obama's real agenda, it'll be tooooo late. Not that they will not have warned us; God knows they tried.

Hey, actually, i looked around this morning and couldn't find my 1865 Kentucky Long rifle, or my .22 pistol, or my .45, or my 30.06. They're gone!! And when i went into my closet, all my clothes were replaced with 10 sets of sky-gray work duds. No longer do i have to spend time and mental energy shopping for just the right clothes and shoes; they're all provided by the State. !So i turned on the tube and every station was broadcasting Big Brother and his morning desire that we all enjoy our day of toil, knowing that all our needs will be taken care of. After which i stepped outside and quietly joined the long line of fellow americans on their way to their free flu shots, nail clipping and hair trims. Right now, i'm writing this while travelling on a dull-gray train to my new job as a "worker". This is all so new and exciting! And freedom of speech? That's gone too. Now i know the specific boundaries of acceptable speech. Sometimes i'm even told what to say and think!

True, there are varying degrees and forms, including conservative/libertarian socialism. Given that socialism has morphed from ownership of the means of production to its management by taxation and regulation, then social democracy is certainly a form of socialism, perhaps the worst form.

Obama is a social democrat.
