In a stunning admission, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager predicts in an email that Donald Trump will become president if he wins the Republican nomination.

“If Donald Trump takes the Republican nomination, our party will lose more than the presidency,” Robby Mook writes to supporters.

Don't bother with the rest of the article- it is an embarrassing screed about Trump destroying the nation in ways the President has no authority to do. (Except for the One, peace be unto him, Obama).

Well, he could be right.

Most of the time I am sure that Hillary can beat anyone the GOP nominates.

But sometimes I think Trump could pull off the win. He has shredded the campaign rule book.

Also Rubio would have a chance to beat Hillary but not a good one especially since he doesn't have much of a shot at the nomination. ;-)

I did not believe that Trump would stay in the race this long and sure didn't believe he would be so high in the polls but his support has proved me 100% wrong. I still have trouble thinking the majority of repubs will actually vote for him in the general election. If he doesn't get the support of the establishment repubs the voter turn out will be extremely low....giving the election to Clinton. (another reason to dislike Trump)

But, you have no trouble whatsoever thinking the majority of dims would vote for Hillary even should she be under indictment, I believe she could survive a guilty verdict during your primaries and still win most states. Personally, I think you best break your broadest out and start painting your current leader in the polls(barely) with the victim brush. Insult some Repubs like Trump. Don't discuss reality like... oh say this last week's 4th quarter economic numbers. Nor any foreign policy.... whatsoever. Nor current reality mind you, you're trying to run an Obama's third term campaign with an FBI breathing down your neck.

Forget what's being done right now, actual policies in place today, forget current domestic or foreign strife, that's all irrelevant. What did Trump say about Megyn Kelly again?

They lie and deflect and their supporters ooh and ah and say, "How presidentially they deflected. Who else could put up with so much pressure and come through it without ever doing what a normal, decent, halfway honest person would do? That shows how ready Clinton is for the job."

Clinton should be disqualified by her legal problems but she will not be.

But Republicans are kinda scary. So people will vote for Clinton anyway. Even a lot of people who don't like her will vote for her. I won't. But I won't vote for a Republican either.

In the polls that I was referring to, a small percentage of GOP said they would vote Hillary over Trump. There is no ideological reason to do that, unlike the dems for Trump.

It is more likely the GOP who hate Trump would stay home.
