PORTLAND — A federal grand jury has indicted 16 people for their roles in the Oregon wildlife refuge standoff, charging them all with a count of conspiracy to impede officers of the United States.

The group’s leader, Ammon Bundy, and 15 other people “prevented federal officials from performing their official duties by force, threats and intimidation,” according to a sealed indictment filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and unsealed Thursday. Each person could face up to six years in prison.

In addition to Bundy, his brother, Ryan, and others taken into custody last week in Oregon and Arizona, the indictment also charges the four people still at the refuge.

The indictment came a little more than a week after authorities began arresting people involved in the armed occupation of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and, while taking the group’s leaders into custody, fatally shot one of the most high-profile occupiers.

Seems rather light, but OK. If that is the punishment, they might all see two years at the most. Sad thing is, I feel they would find themselves right back in the same situation. I doubt they learn from this.

Outstanding - but the Braindead Bundy Boys will get a bill for around 100k in taxpayer costs for each day they freeloaded on federal property.

Not to mention the another couple hundred grand for the fence they destroyed and cleanup bill for the ungodly MESS they left behind.

Those boys have assets and cash too .. pay up assclowns ..

Oh, and time to flush out the remaining four - do it Waco-style! :D

It's too bad they weren't illegal immigrants, then Democrats would be rushing to their defense.

Millions of foreign nationals occupying America illegally? Reward them with welfare and a path to citizenship.

A dozen or so American citizens occupy an empty building in the middle of nowhere? CRUSH THEM!!!
