Well, there's only one Muscle Shoals on the entire planet ... all Baptist Christian Conservative Fire & Brimstone of it ... so highly unlikely.

They ran them out

Seriously, I read somewhere that is where the name Muscle Shoals came from. All these musclemen would come there to work out. I threw in the homosexual part just to stir you up.

Well, that'll be news to Henry Ford and Thomas Edison ..

The History of the City of Muscle Shoals

In 1921, automotive tycoon Henry Ford, accompanied by Thomas Edison, came to Muscle Shoals with a vision of transforming this area into a metropolis.

Neither nor ABKCO nor BMG own the songs, they just MANAGE the catalog and handle licensing.

Their responsibilities range from marketing and licensing songs to the film, TV and advertising sectors, to ensuring the writers are paid promptly and accurately for their use on the fast-growing number of digital music services.

But i'm sure they'll be happy to file the cease & desist and lawsuit if necessary against Trump for plagiarizing the Stones intellectual property.

Obsessed much?

But it was already known as Muscle Shoals. So why is it called Muscle Shoals. No one knows for sure and the body builder explanation is as good as claiming it was because of all the little mollusk there (which would be mussels, not muscles)

It would then be called Mussel Shoals, not Muscle Shoals. Its Zebra Mussels, not Zebra Muscles.

Then it would be up to them to make the complaint, not the Stones.

Its because you got me banned from the original thread, which is where I would have posted this. You just can't stand to be shown to be a purveyor of falsehoods.

So you are suggesting that because the Stones have hired a company to handle licensing, marketing and legal issues, it's okay for Trump to plagiarize their music?

Clearly, your marbles remain lost. ;-)

In any court of law, Trump would lose- big time. That's just a fact.

Perhaps, but it won't be the Rolling Stones who are the big time winners necessarily in this.

We wish BMG all the best with their new endeavor but it must be noted that ABKCO, a wholly owned independent entertainment company, remains the sole source of rights and licensing for these compositions along with the corresponding master recordings by The Rolling Stones.

The above is from my original link.

If Team Trump went to ABKCO and received permission from them (and nothing says they did not) then the Stones have no standing in this matter.
