...to be fiscal conservatives. Isn't it hilarious?

I mean, this is the political party that worships the socialist policies of FDR and LBJ, yet the emergence of Bernie Sanders has turned them into fire-breathing economic realists who are incredulous at Sander's unvarnished advocacy of socializing healthcare and education.

What's going on here? Is there anyone who actually believes Clinton supporters are sincere in their seeming rejection of socialism? Because I'm not. These people LOVE big government socialism and promises of "free stuff". It's what their entire political "ideology" is based upon. So why the attacks on Sanders?

I don't think Hillary is any different than Obama and or Bush and as such will continue down this path of spending more than we make.

They don't have any sort of principles. They never had. They will support whatever they believe necessary to "win" - which is why they spend years talking like classical progressive warriors and then do an about-face when a candidate that lives up to the principles they claim to hold - Sanders - jumps into the race over the poster child of the establishment, Hillary Clinton.

Don't give them the credit of having principles. That's reserved for honest, moral people. They are neither.

Their voters don't want fiscal conservationism. They want a cradle to grave nanny state.

This must be polish for the undecided.

It's reminiscent of Joe Biden saying that we need to spend our way out of debt.

You're correct. Millions of people want most, if not all basic human needs provided, but also demand more individual liberty. Can someone explain how that is even possible?

Provided by someone else! Democrats by nature are lazy people and feel entitled to the fruits of your labor! They want their liberty, not yours. That's why we need a flat tax payable by absolutely everyone.

But the point is, you can't realize more individual liberty while handing over more power over to government. Once government has the authority to manage your needs, they now have the authority to also manage your individual liberties as they see fit.

They're brainwashed drones that do what they're told. They're passing up an actual liberal with actual principles for a slimy, criminal, glorified neocon.
