Weekly Standard: Romney Is Right (http://www.npr.org/2012/09/13/161061157/weekly-standard-romney-is-right)

One can question the timing and tone of Mitt Romney's statement last night. One can note he wasn't as fluent and clear as he might have been at his press conference this morning. Still, the fact remains that the events of Sept. 11, 2012, represent a big moment for the country. Romney is right to sense this, and to seize on this moment as an occasion to explain the difference between his foreign policy and President Obama's. He's right to reject the counsel of the mainstream media, which is to keep quiet and give President Obama a pass.

Romney is right to bring home the weakness of the Obama administration, exemplified in the disgraceful statement issued yesterday, September 11, by the American embassy in Cairo — a statement, I believe, that would have to have been cleared by the State Department.

Romney deserves credit for emphasizing today that the events in Cairo and Benghazi remind us of the need for American leadership. He refused to cater to what must be a widespread (and understandable, if short-sighted) 'let's just get out of that crazy part of the world' sentiment among the public. He spoke in the tradition of conservative internationalism.

If Romney can prove both strong and thoughtful on foreign policy over the next few days, it could be an inflection point in the presidential campaign

Questionable. However, I think Mitt did enough and probably should not go into any hard details/policy, unless he cites it from what he would have done on past Obama miscalculations.

Entering that arena, while supplying citizens with a Romney "what I would do speculative package" also opens the doors to his opponent to start a chant with mindless sheep and the Obama sycophant media of "We don't need another warmonger Bush." (should Mitt state any policies too aggressive in wording)

I don't envy Romneys dilemma. Giving any ammo to a massive, global leftist media...salivating for something to champion their messiah again, while trying to get out some of his policies, has got to be a tough ride.

I think Romney was right. Although the admin would like to cover their collectivist butts with false deflection to Romney, Obama and Hillary blew this whole thing. Obama's policy of appeasement is the worst possible course. America is not respected or feared by Al Qaeda under this weak president. FAIL

Ubama thinks if we're just nice to these radical Islamist's, they'll be nice to us....when has that ever happened?
His foreign policy of appeasement is deplorable.

America agrees:

Friday, September 14, 2012
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns 45% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. See daily tracking history (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/archive/2012_presidential_election_matchups2).

The substance of what Romney said was absolutely right. There is a collapse of Obama's policy. It began with the Cairo speech. It began with the apologies to Iran. It began with regret for the Iraq war. It began with the so-called outreach, and it completely collapsed. It has gotten nowhere on Iran. These are the fruits of appeasement and apology.

Now Romney should make a general speech explaining and connecting all the dots, proving catagorically that Obama is an utter failure, his policies are an utter failure, and he is not the great Commander in Chief that the lapdog media makes him out to be.

Does Bible code predict President Romney?
27 Oct.`12 - Hebrew expert claims Mitt's destiny embedded in Scripture

A well-known Bible-code researcher has bad news for Barack Obama, as he claims hidden texts in the Holy Bible indicate Mitt Romney will be America’s next president. Moshe Aharon Shak, an orthodox Jew and author of “Bible Codes Breakthrough” has produced a series of videos on YouTube with his modern analysis of Scripture. For those not familiar with Bible codes, they are said to be secret messages embedded in the Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament.

Those who claim the codes’ validity say they disclose information about both the past, as well as the future. The messages are decoded when a computer is used to search in a certain pattern, such as every fourth or fifth Hebrew letter within a given matrix. “The matrix is found in Deuteronomy Chapter 28, verses 13 and 14,” says Shak, a mechanical engineer from Montreal, Canada. “There we find his first name, last name, day and month of birth, and the term ‘president.’ Fifteen terms consisting of 85 letters are found telling a fascinating story.”

Shak says the Hebrew code goes beyond merely stating that Romney will be president, but also describes the kind of leader he’ll be. “The codes are telling us: a fitting president,” he explains, adding that Romney’s name is associated with the phrase, “the man (is) for Him,” referring to the Master of the universe. “I suppose that means that he (Romney) will follow His (God’s) ways,” said Shak. “But the term goes both ways. It also means that the Master of the universe will be for him, for Romney.” The BibleCodesDigest website has looked at Shak’s videos, and says, “Although he claims that the search is done by established methodology guided by scientific principles, there are two critical caveats that must be understood.”

The first is that interpretation of the codes can be faulty, and the second is that undiscovered codes can shed more light on the intent of a matrix. “In contrast to Shak’s beliefs, BCD believes that codes present well-known viewpoints, which may or may not be true,” the site continues. “For example, a code such as Romney will be president could be either (1) a fact or (2) an opinion about what may happen. If codes only present facts, then they can be used to make predictions. However, if codes can be either a fact or an opinion, they cannot be used to make reliable predictions.
