that is roughly one percent of the states voters. I think the commonwealth will survive.
Meanwhile, Trump slit his own throat by conveniently forgetting who David Duke was yesterday. It is galvanizing mainstream republicans against him.

Still an interesting development but we understand you must play it down.
"Mainstream" Republicans hated Trump from the get go. Their attacks have grown increasingly desperate and vicious because Trump is handing them their asses.
3500 joined the republicans, the others are keeping their options open for the primary tomorrow.
even with the 3500, the gop is shrinking in mass, having lost 5000+ in the same time frame.
The 19,800 who left the Mass Dems represent about 1.3 percent of the 1.49 million enrolled in the party. And though the MassGOP gained several thousand voters, it actually lost more in the same time frame, when 5,911 quit the party to be unenrolled.

If Trump wins the GOP nomination, the "Republicans" are going to field a third party candidate against him. That dooms Trump. Absolutely dooms him. There is a logical if far flung reason for the GOP to do this. If somehow they could keep any of the candidates in November from reaching 270 electoral votes the election would go to the House of Representatives , and the third party Republican candidate could get elected as the GOP has the majority there.
up here, to maintain independent status (aka unenrolled), one has to go in and change back after voting in a primary.
it's pretty common, but the sec of state did say it's a lot more prevalent this year.

If Trump is doomed then you can relax. Maybe go back to worrying about racism at high school basketball games in Texas? Oh wait...that thread was about Trump too. lol

At least you are boring. Without that going for you no one would detect your presence.

Although, had I thought it through, I could have changed parties and voted for anyone but Trump tomorrow.

yeah, it is.
it didn't used to be that way, dammit. :)

I would say "predictable." Yes, that is boring.

The RINO's are saying that. If they actually do it then there will be no doubt left among American voters and the Republican party will actually become the Republican party again, sans RINO's.

The article assumes (it provides no facts) that Democrats are leaving specifically because they support Trump. More likely, in a race without Sanders, they completely reject Hillary Clinton and what she stands for....and are willing to vote for Trump to prevent her from becoming president.

And that is why some Democrats are switching to R for the primary. Vote for the trump and in the end the nation wins when the Democrats keep the White House.
