View Full Version : Why Rabbis Are Boycotting Trump's Speech To Israeli-American Group

According to Donald Trump, there is "no one more pro-Israel" than himself — a phrase he will likely repeat in his speech at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Monday evening.

But Trump's past statements on Israel have prompted rabbis and other AIPAC conference attendees to organize a walkout of the Republican frontrunner's AIPAC speech.

"We must let him speak but we are not obliged to listen," an AIPAC attendee said on the protest's organizing Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/cometogetheragainsthate/), which has nearly 1,800 members.

""Our goal is not to disrupt the proceedings or to offend any of our fellow conference attendees. Our hope is to shine a moral light on the darkness that has enveloped Mr. Trump’s campaign," reads the description of the Facebook event, "Come Together Against Hate."

In an interview with Breitbart (http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/03/20/exclusive-rabbi-on-planned-walk-out-of-donald-trumps-aipac-speech-what-trump-calls-pc-we-call-being-a-good-person/), Rabbi David Paskin, an organizer of the protest, said the walkout is a reaction to Trump calling Mexican immigrants rapists, most Muslims terrorists, and American Jews money-hungry negotiators.

"This is about denouncing hatred in all forms," Paskin told Breitbart (http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/03/20/exclusive-rabbi-on-planned-walk-out-of-donald-trumps-aipac-speech-what-trump-calls-pc-we-call-being-a-good-person/). "Everyone here at AIPAC denounces hatred. ... We are going to continue to come together against hate. We are going to argue that what Mr. Trump calls PC, is not a bad thing, it is what we Jews call … being a good person."

Who ever heard of mass protests and boycotts of a presidential CANDIDATE?

I don't think it has ever happened before. The Republicans need to find a mirror and look and see who and what they are, in a hurry.

American Jews are a very good indication of Mr. Trump's correct views. Many are self-loathing leftists. One is defined, in part, by one's enemies. Leftist Jews are a good indicator.

I looked at the organizer of this boycott. I went to his website and viewed two of his 205 youtube videos. He appears to be an interesting, reasonable person. I have a gut feeling that he is a leftist based on one of his videos where he described the two leftist presidential candidates, what's her name and the Socialist. He described one as a practical revolutionary and the other as a revolutionary. He seemed delighted and pleased.

One additional bit of evidence I considered is his mischaracterization of Trump's statements about illegal aliens and Muslim so-called refugees. If he wanted to know the truth he could have known it. Instead he lied. He did what some of you have done. Some of you known leftists.

Does he have a political purpose instead of his stated moral stance? I cannot tell. But I believe he does.

Keep an eye on these rabbi "protests." I promise you they won't be anything like the redneck Chicago types. These folks belong to a higher class. They will be respectful. No hollering. No cursing. Their silence will show their dissent.

Now, if only we could convince the redneck protesters to clean up their act a bit.

Trump gets good numbers (http://www.haaretz.com/world-news/u-s-election-2016/1.707615) with Israeli Jews.

Of the two Democratic candidates in the U.S. presidential race, Israelis prefer the non-Jewish one.
The Israel Democracy Institute’s Peace Index survey released Sunday found that 40.5 percent of Jewish Israelis see former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as “preferable from Israel’s standpoint,” while only 16.5 percent prefer Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who is Jewish.

The survey of 600 Israelis also found that 61 percent of Jewish Israelis believe Republican front-runner Donald Trump’s positions on Israel are “very or moderately friendly.” In addition, 34 percent of Jewish Israelis surveyed believe a Republican president would be better than a Democratic one for Israel and 28 percent think a Democratic president would be better, while 38 percent had no opinion or did not know.

Like anyone on the left in the UK I have always known and got on well with plenty of ex-Jews, and I've known a fair few religious ones too, refugees from Hitler mostly, and a lot of those whose parents got out on the Kindertransport. On the left, naturally, we are always sympathetic to the oppressed, and fond of intelligence. The Zionists ex-Jews left Judaism for a stupid version of Nazism - their only response to Hitler was to adopt his racism, his racist definition of 'Jew' and his policy of mass- murder. Naturally, those who have gone through the filth that 'Jews' have suffered are going, at first, to go along with a 'Jewish' state, but more and more, thank goodness, are disassociating themselves from this Nazi filth.
