Trump’s Supreme Court Plans Would Set Us Back Decades
http://www.queerty.com/trumps-supreme-court-plans-would-set-us-back-decades-20160322

"The GOP frontrunner has announced that if he’s president (‘yuge if), any Supreme Court nominee he presents will be pre-approved by the Heritage Foundation, an antigay, anti-immigrant think tank."

"Trump says he’ll be releasing a list of ten prospective nominees, all of whom have been hand-selected through the group."

"The organization came under scrutiny in 2013 after a senior fellow who wrote a report on immigration was revealed to have previously stated that Blacks and Hispanics are intellectually inferior."

Thanks to Queerty for this report.

Imho, this man is quite dangerous to the people he wants to rule over. We would only regress with a CONServative Supreme Court rather than progress and many laws that have passed to bring liberty and equality to people, including minorities, as well as Same-Sex Marriage would be subject to being done away, with CONS on the court. That is why we cannot even entertain the thought of electing a Republican President as that would be a disastrous move we would surely live to regret. Trump would inevitably bring much hardship and heartache to most Americans were he to be elected.

If liberals were not able to cut and paste from wacko lib websites they would be out of business.

Without a specific name for a Justice to vet, preconceived notions are useless.

A few thoughts.

Trump isn't President.

If he makes President, then his nominations will have to go through the same vetting process as would, say, Hillary's nominations.

Just because a single group approves them, does not mean the Senate will or will not confirm.

And if the Democrats win back the Senate... you can be sure they won't.

You must have seen the list?

But, even then, it's a little premature to be so "sure."

Well you see. Stagnant economy, 19 trillion in debt, education system fail, we can't take care of vets, have a fatherless family rate through the roof. The entire world is on f'n fire including our own inner cities......

And with that and so many other systemic issues...... such as a national historical perspective of 0.2......Trueblue is frightened two men won't be able to wed.

Trump will never become President, so it's really a non-issue

That's odd, isn't that exactly what the republicans both here and in congress just spent the last few months doing?

If everybody felt as you did - we wouldn't see another thread with Trump as the subject.

That would be refreshing.

At least we can count on you -- right?

As long as trump is the leading republican in the polls and a threat to hillary he will be Public Enemy Number One for liberals.

Trump scares them. That fear is evidenced every time they start a new attack-Trump thread.

I have said all along that all discussion was premature until the president nominated someone.

Trump’s Supreme Court Plans Would Set Us Back Decades.

Trump hasn't provided anything to tell us who his picks would be, but the partisans have already said they they will "set us back decades".

Trump has demonstrated in his past to be a liberal Democrat type, so maybe there is some merit to the idea.

If a lot of people didn't believe that Trump had a good chance of winning there would not be all of these intense attacks against him.

Most of those things you cite you can blame on Republicans from their last administration. And yet Republicans still want to do away with the Education Department. Figures. How predictable they are in not caring about our nation's children, the leaders of tomorrow.

And Ransom....a true spinmeister who has spun his own web of deceit and lives in it with all of his legs and eggs.

Yes. Amongst our hatred for women, blacks, browns, elderly, gays, refugees, the planet, democrats, and progress itself.

We of the GOP don't care about our own children.

Rich from someone who supports PP.

Why do the haters nearly always project. Go get married, TB.... make a political statement. Ain't about marriage, ain't about children, it's all about you.

Now, that would explain much. I must apologize for labeling you with a victim's mentality if you've in fact been victimized..... then I take it all back. It's just your posts in here..... they just sound disingenuous.... like you're a fake. If indeed a 'boys gym coach' or some heinous 'archbishop' victimized you, I truly am sorry.

If not, every slot I've ever properly pegged you in is still in effect.
