At least 180K join GOP as Pa. primary nears (http://www.philly.com/philly/news/politics/20160329_At_least_180K_join_GOP_as_Pa__primary_nea rs.html)

That is a lot of people to switch parties....

At least 128,000 voters statewide have changed their registration since Jan. 1 to join the party. Nearly 85,000 of them had been Democrats; 42,000 were independents or third-party voters. The GOP has also racked up 55,468 more first-time registrants.

The changes reflect what experts are calling an unprecedented number of party switches before a primary election.

Interesting, to say the least.

It could be a number of scenarios.

The one it's probably not is democrats trying to elect Trump because they feel Hillary can beat him but not Cruz.

That one is just wishful thinking.

Trump is in Right field??? Do you only read talking points.

Kasich is hoping against Hope for a contested convention. where he comes out on top. If the Establishment things is a good idea, not only will I not vote GOP, but I will Vote DNC.

Wiki will have a new entry called "The Trump Strategy". 2016 will be noted as the year Dems switched to GOP, the GOP went third party, and Libertarians went for Sanders.

You forgot the AZ strategy: voter registrars change party affiliation based on whim

the country is lost

because the left is united and moving forward as one whereas the unleft is fractured into 50 different groups all fighting with each other
