Yes, according to the Libyan government the Obama administration definitely received three days advanced warning that their undefended consulate was in serious and immediate danger . . . and Obama and the slugs working for him simply ignored the warning.

The Independent has reported diplomatic sources who said that the threat of an attack against US interests in the region was known to the US administration 48 hours before it took place. The alert was issued by the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, but not made public. A State Department spokesman maintained: "We are not aware of any actionable intelligence indicating that an attack on the US Mission in Benghazi was planned or imminent."

But President Megarif told the American station National Public Radio: "We firmly believe that this was a pre-calculated, pre-planned attack that was carried out specifically to attack the US Consulate. A few of those who joined in were foreigners who had entered Libya from different directions, some of them definitely from Mali and Algeria."

A senior official of the biggest militia in Benghazi, the February 17th Brigade, told CNN that he had warned US diplomats of a rapidly deteriorating security situation in Benghazi three days before the attack. "The situation is frightening, it scares us," he said he had stressed during the meeting.

Ironically all of this ties in with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, who -- unaware at the time that Obama was going to opt to place himself and his entire administration under a gag order to prevent the following information from becoming general knowledge -- laid it all out for the nation on her cable news show, and here's the link to that: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/jack-coleman/2012/09/17/maddow-unintentionally-exposes-obama-admin-fatally-lax-security-bengha (http://newsbusters.org/blogs/jack-coleman/2012/09/17/maddow-unintentionally-exposes-obama-admin-fatally-lax-security-bengha)

On her cable show Thursday night, Maddow described how Stevens, an Arabic speaker and "longtime student of Libya" who "understood the country well," traveled to the coastal city of Derna in 2008. Stevens wrote a classified memo, later published by WikiLeaks, warning of growing al Qaeda militancy in Derna, "right there next to Benghazi," Maddow said.

Stevens' cable to Washington "actually used the Bruce Willis movie 'Die Hard' as an analogy for understanding how intense the local attitudes were there about jihad," [A]l Qaeda documents seized by American troops in Iraq revealed that more holy warriors were sent to Iraq from Derna "than any other place in the entire Arab world,"

CNN reported this past June that al Qaeda sent one of its top operatives in Pakistan to Derna [snip]
"The assignment was to set Derna up just outside of Benghazi as essentially a new, mini-Afghanistan," Maddow said, "a new hub for al Qaeda, with multiple training camps there for al Qaeda fighters.

"[The murder] happened when the ambassador was in this lightly fortified consulate building, over in the eastern part of the country, in a city that's basically right next to what al Qaeda is trying to build as a new hub for terrorist training."

Now I already knew what she revealed and many conservatives knew it as well but most liberals didn't; but every liberal that listened to her accidental condemnation of Barack Obama as a foreign policy wonk and commander-in-chief that did not know it prior to her telling them; well, they know it now . . . even if they are pretending that they don't.

Oh course they knew. But being the slackers they are, campaigning came first and it didn't get addressed in time. Now the spin is cleverly crafted denials and deflections. What a friggin embarrassment. Obama/Jarrett are totally incompetent.

And Obama is playing a really dangerous political game. He's banking on the media refusing to break ranks -- just as was the case for him in 2008 when they collectively campaigned him into office -- and yet it seems to have escaped his notice that this is 2012, not 2008, and that all it takes is for one journalist or pundit in the mainstream to cease believing in him; and after four years of watching the man mess up and spinning and covering for him . . . it just might happen.

Anyway if wishes were horses we'd all be hip deep in manure -- manure aside from nationwide economic problems, that is . . . heh.

But before I wandered off my point in this reply, if any mainstream media personality or pundit does finally break rank with Obama on the Libyan situation -- after Obama denied the truth of what really happened -- that will severely damage his re-election prospects. Not end it for him, obviously, but really hurt him nonetheless. A little less than fifty days remaining with plenty more middle east revelations to come -- and other news as well? Well, even Obama is not made of Teflon.

He'll probably have an assistant write you . . . and your return reply will thereafter be: Dear President Romney . . . .
