If Democratic Party superdelegates were tied to their state's primary vote what would be the delegate count be between Clinton and Sanders ??

I am not sure that would be easy to calculate without a list of all superdelegates. I believe they get that designation through status. Not state of residence.

Both parties have crafted their rules to make the will of the people in the primary process useless- if they pick the wrong candidate.

It's my understanding that Republican superdelegates are tied to their state's primary vote at lest for the first convention vote.

Yes. After the first vote they are freed. And even some normal delegates become free agents.

The rule change that Mitt used in 2012 to solidify the power of the Establishment (http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/2012-2016-GOP-convention/2015/07/10/id/654385/) will favor Trump. Unless the RNC changes it before the convention.

That brings us back to the original question, "If Democratic Party superdelegates were tied to their state's primary vote what would be the delegate count be between Clinton and Sanders ??"

Hoping some of the forums progressives or Sanders supporters would have already or know of a site that has crunched the numbers.
