Despite spending the last four months lecturing Trump supporters on how to register to vote, Ivanka Trump (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/05/04/i-love-ivanka-trump.html) missed the deadline to register to vote for her dad in New York. Ivanka’s failure to follow New York’s non-complicated voter registration (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/01/24/a-bipartisan-path-to-fixing-america-s-broken-elections.html) rules is remarkable, given that she’s been the public face of her father’s get-out-the-vote efforts. She made nearly half a dozen campaign videos on the importance of registering to vote. But refusing to take college ID's when most college kids either don't drive or have an out of state DL?

That sucks.

And of course closing 70% of the polling places your most populous county just before an election.

Pssst, they don't want non residents voting. It is illegal to vote in your state of residency and where you go to college. People have gotten jailed over that oversight.

If you are in State A only for college, you likely are not a resident eligible to vote in State A. But guess what? You are eligible to vote in your state of residency.
