Clinton camp: Sanders rigging system with superdelegates (http://www.politico.com/blogs/2016-dem-primary-live-updates-and-results/2016/04/hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders-superdelegates-221828):

When it comes to Donald Trump's recent comments about a rigged primary system hurting both him and Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton's campaign is having none of it. In fact, Clinton's press secretary Brian Fallon on Tuesday remarked that it is Sanders who is trying to rig the system by attempting to court superdelegates currently allied with Clinton.

“Really, I think when you talk about rigging the system, that’s what Sen. Sanders is trying to do now," Fallon said in an interview with CNN's "New Day." "Hillary Clinton has won in the popular vote by a wide margin. She’s got more than 2 million votes over Sen. Sanders in all of the contests when you add them all up."

Reiterating that Clinton has won more states and pledged delegates, a point the candidate has stressed herself in recent days, Fallon commented, "So now that’s forcing Sen. Sanders to go out and talk about the idea that he wants to try to flip superdelegates and get him to overturn the will of the people as expressed through who’s won the most contests.”

While acknowledging that Sanders' campaign is permitted under the rules to seek out those superdelegates, Fallon said that his point "is just that if anybody’s trying to rig the system right now to overturn the will of the people right now, it’s Sen. Sanders.”

I damn near busted a gut at work when I read this article. Hillary had virtually all of the superdelegates behind her before a single vote was cast and relied on superdelegates to give her the delegate lead in states she lost, some of them by pretty epic margins (NH). Now that Sanders is trying to coax some of those superdelegates to more appropriately reflect the will of the voters and split between the two campaigns, the Clinton campaign wants to complain about "rigging the system."

This is the problem with the elites who feel they are entitled to our worship. War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength.

That IS rich. Boy, i couldn't handle 8 years of Hillary as POTUS. She just needs to take her shrill whine and crawl under a rock.

She must have learned how to whine and accuse others of what she does herself, from some members here.

There has never been a person in the history of the country who ran for this office as unlikable, dishonest, and arrogant as Hillary Clinton.

That's one thing I like about this election cycle. The parties are about to nominate two of the most dishonest, unlikable, and arrogant people to ever run for office in the history of the United States.

I'm still laughing about the Clinton camp having the nerve to accuse Sanders of attempting to rig the nomination process through the use of super delegates.

I would say that by including the superdelegates in Clinton's total from the word go the media has rigged the system. People like to support a winner, and they gave Clinton the appearance of winning before most of the contests started. There's no way that didn't influence the results.

I'm sure many Sanders supporters will vote for Hillary, because some here have said so.

I believe a substantial number of his followers are similar to the Perot supporters during his first run. He siphoned off enough votes on the conservative side to cost Bush 41 the election. They knew that Perot had no chance, but they were so disgusted with both major party candidates they could not or would not compromise their principles and vote for either.
