Hillary Has Received Hundreds of Thousands Fewer Votes in 2016 vs. 2008 (http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/04/30/exclusive-clinton-crash-hillary-received-hundreds-thousands-less-votes-2016-vs-2008/)
Hillary will bring record low turnouts to the general election in 2016 assuming she makes it that far.
It’s particularly telling that she’s gotten fewer votes in 2016 than she did in 2008, especially because of the fact that the 2008 race was a three-way race for some time between Clinton, now President Barack Obama, and ex-Sen. John Edwards. She was, despite being the frontrunner for some time, the ultimate loser of that race—and she got more votes that year in a much more competitive primary that she ended up losing than she has this year against a devout, proud socialist in
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
16%
of Vermont.
Clinton is widely expected to be the Democratic nominee in 2016, but her poor performance in the primaries—which many believe she should have wrapped up long ago—may drag her down heading into the general election, as even many Democratic voters seem to distrust her. To win in November, Clinton will need a strong showing from the Democrat base. This data seems to suggest that she has significant problems with her own party’s core voters, meaning that if whoever wins the Republican nomination is able to woo these disaffected Democrats into the GOP camp, there could be a blowout in November for the Republican nominee.
In 2016, Clinton has received 12,437,734 votes so far. In the states that have already voted this cycle, when she ran and lost back in 2008, Clinton received 12,727,221 votes.
Specifically, the data shows, Clinton has seen a decline of 273,321 votes from 2008 to 2016 among states that have already voted this cycle. That 2.15 percent decrease nationally is exacerbated in several key states that Clinton would need to win to secure the presidency in a general election, suggesting that she’s extraordinarily weak on the electoral college scale nationally—and that whoever wins the GOP nomination will likely be able to thump her in the general in November.

Peter, that's Breitbart you're getting that from. Don't you know they are an Ultra Right-Wing website? Of course they would take that position. Foregone conclusion.

Does that mean they can't do simple arithmetic?

Disputing the numbers by attacking the messenger never works TrueBlue Post your own site that claims HC has actually received more votes at this time compared to 2008.

They didn't make up the numbers, right?
If Satan's news outlet reported that Jesus was crucified it doesn't make it untrue.

Well how do you explain why she has more than 2 million more votes than Donald Trump received?
And there has never been any direct correlation between turn-out between primaries and the general election ............
So what all the big deal about............. Yall sound like 3 people I knew who travelled the Yellow brick road
Trump will not be able to make any inroads into the blue states (even in NY which he says he will win) and HRC will also get Georgia Colorado and Arizona.............and have an electoral windfall

This election will be about who the electorate likes the least, not who they like the best and the result will rest on how many of which side doesnt vote

Hillary didn't have to split votes with 16 other candidates.

Except that the Demo turnout is down over a third. While the Repubs is up 2/3rds. Even those at 538 say not to discount this primary vote going into the election.
Repubs turn out is damn near as Historic as BO peep was in 2008. They have been laying grassroots since 2010. Won Historic victories in 2012 and won again in 2014. The Demos have no grass roots and their DNC is in the Red. They don't even have a bench.

Oh is it like that for you.....thanks for sharing what you can't handle, even though I didn't ask about any of your limitations.
Its understandable with your inability to keep up with what is actually taking place with US politics. As clearly you admit you are easily distracted. So again thanks for letting everybody know about that limitation you have.

Other than your observation of how you rate HRC's charisma.............
Can you tell us why you made this post?
And what do you believe is the significance of the information it provides?

I am anticipating the greatest Democratic turnout in history if Trump is the nominee. I would be shocked if there wasn't.
The only thing the Democrats have to do is keep repeating the personal story of Donald Trump until it is burned in the American peoples minds. He is extremely narcissistic, a habitual liar of epic proportions, personally corrupt in his business dealings, absolutely no friend to working people, very misogynistic, etc etc etc, pretty much to infinity. Electing him President of the United States would be the single most shameful development in the nation's history that isn't related to slavery or workplace safety violations.
Democrats are coming out in droves in Nov.

Oh sure.
It supports a statement I have made several times on the forum. That I believe the dem turnout will be low in November.
Does that help? Yes or no.

I doubt it. People come out in large numbers when they are inspired. Hillary can't inspire a thing.

You may be correct. The only problem with your prediction is that a ton of them will be turning out to vote for Trump.

The only problem with your rant is that too much of it also fits Hillary.

200k+ fewer votes as compared to 2008 is not an opinion. It shows low turnout.
I predict low turnout in November.
Get it?

Know why? Because her initial voter turnout were folks who couldn't stand the idea of a blah man in the White House.
