Clinton Raises $26 Million in April for Primary Bid
By Lisa Lerer, Associated Press CHARLOTTE, N.C.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/clinton-raises-26-million-april-primary-bid-38812135

"Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/whitehouse/hillary-clinton.htm) raised about $26 million in April for her primary race against Bernie Sanders (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/us/bernie-sanders.htm), her campaign said, as her rival's fundraising juggernaut slowed."

"Clinton's campaign said she has $30 million in the bank heading into May. She had about $29 million at the start of last month."

"Sanders' take for April was a little under Clinton's, marking a steep decline from the $46 million he raised in March. He did not report how much money he has on hand, raising questions about whether he can sustain his long-robust online fundraising as his path to the nomination narrows."

Thanks to ABC News for this report.

Imho, The fact that Hillary keeps raising that much money in a month is proof that Americans are supporting her and her candidacy for president. You don't give money to someone you don't believe in or that you don't want to be your president.

Bernie is now on the decline and the handwriting is on the wall that he should exit the race. But he apparently wants to cause problems for the Democratic Party by going for a contested convention that should well show his intentions of causing division instead of cohesion within the Party and Democrats should be aware of this and switch their support now to Hillary Clinton for the overall good of the Democratic Party.

Since it all has to be declared, I highly doubt that since the FEC would shit the bed.

If you smelt big business and Wall Street you would probably be correct, although I'm sure they are smart enough to mask it under names that people won't immediately link to Wall Street. Like a subsidiary or whatever.

the Clintons have had their hands so dirty, it wouldn't be that hard to create shell companies, launder the money and send it back in a form of a *ahem* donation.
Now there's a connection to them, or the Foundation, to the Panama Paper shake down.
They cannot be trusted with a role of toilet paper......or the WH china

I wouldn't brag about that, Bernie and admitted socialist raised 25.8 million.

Yet, Mr. Sanders’s juggernaut has slowed down amid his narrowing path to the nomination. In April, he raised $25.8 million,

Which is about 50% of what he has been.

Bernie has no reason or obligation to exit the race. He's going to the convention to ensure that progressive voices are heard and Hillary's running mate is a progressive. If the Democrats hadn't picked a right-wing corporate stooge like Hillary, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

And is that getting him the delegates he needs? Of course not because it's the people who want Hillary Clinton instead and that's why they're supporting her and Sanders is on his way down. It's a rotten shame how he thinks he can do some magical arm twisting to get delegates away from Clinton at the convention if there even is one. I have a very good feeling that is all going to backfire on him soon enough.

There are no "questionable practices" and until I see a court order saying otherwise I will stick with that.

All of this wealth redistribution. For Clinton, it is very likely bribery money. For Sanders, it is money "taken" from the little people to enrich a Washington fat cat. Isn't that how leftists would describe it?

I doubt that would even sway you.............you ARE dedicated to the socialist way, or rather that rich bitch who doesn't promise anything to the less fortunate.
She preaches about wealth being a bad thing, yet accumulates wealth in a trust fund and in a Foundation..........
meh....I got no use for a socialist who is enjoying the proclivities that wealth allows while denouncing wealth
"We were poor when we left the White House" ...is that why they fingered the china?

"If there even is one"? The parties hold their conventions every year even when the nominee is uncontested. In 2012, there was no Democratic primary, and they still held a convention. They do a lot more at conventions than just pick the nominee.

Hillary Clinton is as far away from being a socialist as you can get.

closer to communist?
Most, if not all, democrats are a form of socialist one way or another.
of course it doesn't bother some when she denounces the rich while accumulating $230,000 per speaking engagement. Does she need that money to leave a bigger carbon footprint than all my neighbors all tallied?
ah, shucks, what's a bit of change between friends, right?
