Appalachia turns on Clinton, now Trump country (http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_DEM_2016_CLINTON?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2016-05-03-14-11-52)

What do you expect. She wants to shut down the coal industry. People may be simple in Appalachia, but their are not stupid..

When President Bill Clinton rolled into the small Appalachian town of Ashland, Kentucky, in 1996, cheering crowds lined the streets. Local boy-turned-country music star Billy Ray Cyrus performed a special version of his hit, "Achy Breaky Heart" before nearly 20,000 supporters at a riverfront re-election rally.

Back then, this was Clinton country. Today, it looks an awful lot more like Trump town.

Hillary Clinton was met in Ashland on Monday by just a handful of supporters and a lone heckler, who shouted: "Go home, Hillary!" Later on, hundreds of protesters stood in pouring rain, waved Donald Trump signs and chanted "Kill-ary" as Clinton toured a health center in Williamson, West Virginia.

No worries.

Hillary will become the coal-miner's best friend.

She'll start talking with a southern drawl and she's appear in public wearing soot-covered overalls.

And she'll tell everyone how much she loves coal and coal-miners.

I think it will be a landslide. It will be huge.

That's one of her biggest problems. She makes her contempt for the electorate so obvious.

hey Peter1469 and MisterVeritis ... are you confident enough to make some money off of a Hillary supporter? I'll bet you each $1000 that Hillary beats Trump in the general election. For a contest you both feel will be lopsided the other way, it would seem like a fairly safe bet.

I am very confident. Yes, it is a safe bet.

Now if you want to bet, and lose, as Bo-4 has done, for a message in your footer I am all in.

I will bet you that Trump will be President and he will easily win. "Easily win" is not quantifiable. What should we do?

The next thing you know she will be lying about killing jobs in the coal industry.

Clinton never had a chance in Appalachia.

or Kansas... or either of the Dakotas.... I don't think she's too worried about fly over states. She'll let the Donald have the states where prairie dogs outnumber people.... she'll own the coasts, where all the votes are.
