Republicans who describe themselves as very conservative are more trusting of Trump than of Ryan -- 63 to 34 percent -- compared to those who describe themselves as conservative or moderate. […]

The poll was conducted May 9-15 and surveyed 14,100 adults, including 12,507 who say they’re registered voters, via online. The margin of error was 1.2 points.....snip~

More and more articles are coming out with how Trump is more Trustworthy than Hillary, and now Ryan. Team Hillary and the MS Media wont be able to play on the issue of trust against Trump. What say ye?

I think Ryan Heart is in the right place ... andas for Trump ... I don't question his Heart either, but his brain and mouth are miles apart.

Something a President can't afford.

He is probably more trustworthy than McConnell, Reid, and Pelosi too.

I'm sure the top dogs in the House and Senate know Trump has more trust than they do. There wont be much Hillary can do as none on her team are thought to be trustworthy either.

Now that the trumpsters and hillaryites have been forced to accept trump as the republican candidate their next defensive position is that the cookie lady will crush him in november.

But now the polls are tightening up and they may soon be down to

"Oh yeah, well he cant get anything done when the reoublicans in congress hate him!"

This is not terribly surprising; but it just speaks to the fact that so many people do not keep up closely with politics.

Donald Trump is a populist--he borrows some ideas from the right, and others from the left--not a "very conservative" person.

In fact, he went out of his way, just the other day, to point out that the GOP is not called "The Conservative Party," but The Republican Party.

I figure the fall back will be.....the Demos will win the Senate and then they think Trump wont get anything done.

Yet with the House and Trump they will have the same as BO peep. 2/3rds of government. Plus I'm sure Trump can get some Demos and Repubs Senators to jump ship.

Repubs are shooting themselves in the foot with the Senate. But they have no choice with the likes of Mark Kirk and couple of others.

It's fun to watch Donald Trump flounder around and make an ass of himself on twitter.

He has already betrayed us with his 1.1 trillion dollar spending bill that gave the Monster everything he asked for or desired. Primary him out.

Almost everything.....then the Peep wanted 2 Billion for the Zika issue. Then he wanted 40 Billion to fight Daesh. Then 600 Mil to train Rebels is Syria. Then some more mils to trains some other rebels in Syria. Which he will leave to another who will ned few more Billion to take on Daesh.

Which doesn't count what the Peep gets before he leaves office with that issue either.

The republicans in congress are not populists but they are not very conservstive either.

Conservatism may be divided into two major groups: Economic (or fiscal) conservatism; and social conservatism.

The former includes a fealty to free trade--not "fair trade." And the Republicans in Congress, for the most part, are for the former; Donald Trump supports the latter.

As for social conservatism, one of the most important points is the abortion issue--with most Republicans in Congress being pro-life; and Donald Trump came rather late to the game, as a pro-lifer. (For most of his adult life, he expressed pro-choice views.)
