WHY IS THE DONALD GAINING SUPPORT?

Certainly there is a long time and many obstacles to overcome between now and the November election, but in the last week, Trump has eliminated the substantial lead that Hillary Clinton had over him nationally, but more importantly in the battle ground states.

Certainly this can't be comforting to the Democrats as they move forward. So to what does the Donald owe his popularity too? And why is it growing so quickly.

#1 The Donald is the GOP nominee and Hillary is still fighting a primary which certainly helps as the never Trump crowd comes to terms with the facts.

#2 The Donald, shut many of the Conservatives up with the release of his list of potential judges, which is Christmas come early to the conservative base

And while those are factors, that is not where he is gaining the vast majority of his vote. Trump may be the first presidential candidate since Reagan to fire up the Blue Dog Democrats. Trump's has the support of 20%+ of the working age blue collar Democrats. This is more that enough to off set any deficit that he has with Women and minorities. Which leads to our next point

#3 The Donald has tapped into the people and forgotten the party line and political correctness. Before this primary season we knew that the GOP base was pissed off at the Establishment, but what we did not understand is just how angry the DNC base was at their party's Establishment base. Donald picked up on that and is not gain support across the isle.

#4 The Donald is much more likeable that Hillary.

#5 Hillary represents more of the same. Both parties are putting out false data on the economy and the effects that it is having on the common folks in the USA. In short, people are hurting. The economy has not recovered. and the world is a much more dangerous place than it was 7 years ago 70% of the people do not think that the country is heading in the right direction. That is a very difficult number for the party in power to overcome.

#6 The old tactics of character assignation do not work against Donald for 2 reasons. First, Donald attacks back and does not worry about the names that he will be called by the left. And second, everything that they accuse the Donald of, Hillary and or Bill have committed in spades. It is very hard to tell people not to vote for a person because of this character flaw, when you have the same flaw.

Of course there is much more to the story, but just these 6 things I believe are enough to put Trump over the top in the battle ground states. But only time will tell

#3: and when people begin to realize that the democratic establishment and the republican establishment serve the same masters they will really $#@! the bed.

I think that is what is happening. and the Democrats didn't think that it was.

And while people on the left broke for Socialism with Bernie, the people on the right chose the person that destroys the establishment on the right.

I believe that we are going go see one of 2 things. Either the GOP and the DNC are going to return to their roots and start producing what they actually tell their voters they are going to produce. Or we are going to see a 3rd party.

The Gaining Popularity of Donald Trump, and what it means for the USA
#1 A sudden and steep decline in over all national IQ.

#2 We as a country are more in tune with things like "reality" TV than actual reality

#3 More people like a douche bag than a turd sandwich

#4 We really are scraping the bottom of the barrel

Those comments are in no way an endorsement of Clinton.
