Democrats Far Outnumber GOP in Iowa Ballot Requests
With absentee and early voting set to begin next week in Iowa, a battleground state in the presidential race, Democrats have a 6-1 edge (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10000872396390443890304578008773934388786.html) in ballot requests so far, The Wall Street Journal reported.
In the "swing state" of Iowa, democratic interest in early voting is far outpacing that of the republicans. So far democrats have requested 100,000 early voting ballots to the republican 16,000.
Local republicans are noting that Romney and Ryan seem to be paying little attention to Iowa, as of late.
