View Full Version : Warning: Trump is the weakest candidate since Gerald Ford

There is a lot of talk of how Trump is taking the nation by storm but is he really? According to WSJ he has received a million fewer votes than Clinton in the primaries. Trump explains that away by citing the number of repub candidates.

"Of the 20.35 million GOP primary votes cast so far, he has received 7.54 million, or a mere 37 percent. Despite the media desire to call him unstoppable, Mr. Trump is the weakest Republican front-runner since Gerald Ford in 1976."

In addition, the board said Trump should be more concerned about the 39 percent of Republican voters who said in exit polls Tuesday that they would consider a third-party candidate if Trump or Clinton become their parties' nominees, or the 44 percent of non-Trump voters who said they won't vote for him in November.

A chimpanzee could credibly explain away why Hillary has received more votes than Trump - so why did the article's author include it? You say the article is about numbers? Hogwash, I say. The article is about how to propagandize with numbers.

What's particularly informative is that Hillary is losing the majority of states in which she's competing head to head with Bernie.

Trump went from many competitors to none in the matter of two weeks. If the article wishes to focus on the the weakest candidate since Gerald Ford, it need look no further than Hillary herself, who is not inducing any excitement whatsoever.

Not so Trump. Trump has a voracious and totally motivated constituency, and it reaches across all demographics in the earmarks of a consummate populist. The guy has clearly outsmarted talking heads such as the author, or they wouldn't have been consistently wrong predicting his demise.

The author should also focus on the large percentage of Bernie supporters that are just as ticked off about the system as Trump voters are - and those Bernie supporters have pledged in very high percentages to vote for Trump.

Be afraid.

Is it your opinion that business men do not help the country by increasing its wealth? That businessmen do not create jobs or develop products that people want thereby allowing jobs for others? Yes, businessmen become rich but they do not do so without bringing others along with them. 26,000 people work productively for Trump Industries alone. No one knows exactly how many are employed as a result of collateral industries that either provide Trump Industries with goods and services or use those services themselves. Government creates nothing but taxes. Government does nothing that could not actually be done by private industries more efficiently and at less cost. The primary aim of any industry is to produce the maximum amount of profit. The primary aim of any government is to reduce its citizens to mere slaves at every opportunity.

Obama has done absolutely nothing for this country except to run it into the ground. Trump has created thousands of jobs without taking a single dime out of the pockets of any citizen who did not wish to spend their money on any of his enterprises.

Anyone who thinks I said that is an idiot.

Oh yes. Chump the great philanthropist! Chump is so very altruistic!

And you apparently haven't the first clue to what creating a business can do for the economy. Altruism does not create wealth, it does not create jobs and allow people to be free and independent. Yes, some people need help along the way but welfare and handouts only serve to create more dependency.

We are all self made men, its just that most of us don't want to take credit for it.
