Trump-Backed House Republican Renee Ellmers Loses in Primary
By BENJAMIN SIEGEL

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-backed-house-republican-renee-ellmers-loses-primary/story?id=39685270

"Renee Ellmers (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/us/renee-ellmers.htm), R-North Carolina, the only member of Congress endorsed by presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/donald-trump.htm), has lost her primary, becoming the first Republican incumbent member of Congress to lose a reelection bid this cycle."

"Trump recorded a robocall for Ellmers -- who was one of the first members of Congress to endorse his White House bid -- in the final stretch of the campaign."

Thanks to ABC News for this report.

Imho, guess ol' Trump's coat-tails don't reach as far as he thought they would! Gotta be hurtful for Trump and, of course, sends a resounding message about how Americans vote on his endorsements. Quite telling!

Well it was a primary, and a safe district, so at least it will not be a lost seat in congress.

It is quite Clear that the MSM is willing to put out a lot of propaganda in this cycle so it is very important for the GOP to hang on to the house.

They are going to have to show a spine to get back in the good graces of their supporters. As long as they control the house they can defund any Hillary actions that would hurt the country. Which would likely be all of them.
