Rasmussen Reports shows that the swing states continue to be very close. No major breakthroughs by either candidate.

Still, there is some good news for Gov. Romney in all this; and (unfortunately) even more good news for President Obama.

From the latest Rasmussen article on the subject:

Obama has a one- or two-point lead in each of the Key Three States in this year’s election, Ohio, (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/ohio/election_2012_ohio_president) Florida (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/florida/election_2012_florida_president) and Virginia. (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/virginia/election_2012_virginia_president) The president is also up by three in Wisconsin (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/wisconsin/election_2012_wisconsin_president) and up two in Nevada (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/nevada/election_2012_nevada_president). Romney is now up two in Colorado (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/colorado/election_2012_colorado_president) and ahead by three in Iowa (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/iowa/election_2012_iowa_president) and New Hampshire (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/new_hampshire/election_2012_new_hampshire_president). All these states remain Toss-Ups in the Rasmussen Reports Electoral College Projections (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/archive/2012_electoral_college_scoreboard). The president has big leads in Michigan (http://thepoliticalforums.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/michigan/election_2012_michigan_president) and Pennsylvania (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/pennsylvania/election_2012_pennsylvania_president).

Given that over the last 4 Prez cycle, about 240 electoral vote have went to the Dem in all 4 times, if we assume that doesn't change this year, it means that Romney must abosalutely win Florida to even have a chance.
