NEW YORK (AP) — The NFL's regular officiating crews are back. Their return couldn't have come soon enough for many players, coaches and fans.

After two days of marathon negotiations — and mounting frustration throughout the league — the NFL and the officials' union announced at midnight Thursday that a tentative eight-year agreement had been reached to end a lockout that began in June.....snip~

Well, maybe you will see that to start with, but my money is on the media feeding on stories and so, as they have barbequed the replacements, they will herald the returning refs for the story...and then they will turn on them with comparative stories to the replacements and feed on that against the returning refs.

About time, that was a bad call. Not saying refs are not human and don't make mistakes but that was too easy of a call and he had no right being on the field.

Oh I don't watch them anymore but loved when Riggins, Dave Butz, and down town Charlie Brown played. I still watch the old tapes when they were the best ever.
