Now that Donald Trump (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/donald-trump/) has secured the Republican nomination, he must refocus his campaign on the economy to beat Hillary Clinton (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/hillary-clinton/).

Both candidates have negatives that are not easily overcome — for example, Mr. Trump (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/donald-trump/)’s statements about women and minorities, and Mrs. Clinton (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/hillary-clinton/)’s assorted family foundation and email woes — but those largely cancel out.


On the economy, however, Mrs. Clinton (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/hillary-clinton/) may be more vulnerable if Mr. Trump (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/donald-trump/) gets more specific about how he intends to fix it.

I think that he should not only get more specific on the issues but actually start working with Ryan and McConnell so they have day one items in place.

He should also start announcing the member so his Cabinet. he can tell the people this is what I am going to do. The big thing with Trump is the Democrats are trying to paint him as Dangerous.

CNN right now is trying to make fun of him, But when they are talking about his policies, they are lying. If he introduces those policies he will be able to stop that.

Little Debbie is going to speak at the convention and that is going to start a Fire.

Hillary's convention is filled with the old Guard. So coming out of the convention it will be clear, that she is more of the same. 70% of the people believe that is failing.

I would agree with that. It's time to get off the "crooked Hillary" stuff and concentrate on the economy and national security.
