Like Social Security, the Republicans have been trying to destroy Medicare since it began. So again, they are saying they just want to "reform" it. The Jig is up cons, America ain't buying your Kool-aid any more. The Republican mantra has been "destroy" Obamacare, too. That didn't fly, so now PinkSlip says he's just going to "reform" it, because uninsured people are just going to the emergency room for health care, which is putting too much unpaid bills on the hospitals. Of course, his plan is to ban uninsured from getting in the hospitals. He's not letting that cat out of the bag, but America knows.

Perhaps it will be outsourced. That's PinkSlip's goto fallback.

Both dems and reps are killing social security.

Medicare is unsustainable. http://www.californiahealthline.org/articles/2008/3/26/Annual-Federal-Report-Forecasts-Medicare-Funding-Gap-by-2019.aspx?topicID=37

A niffy idea. But we can't afford it.

And, if you subscribe to my theory, Obamacare is nothing more than a foot in the door to a single-payer system.

Basically Medicare squared.

THAT is the real threat to the program. Everything else is fudge.

That is what Obama said it would be. When he was running on Obama care in 2008 some lady said she thought it was crap because what we really need is universal health care. He told her that was what he wanted but that the US would not vote for that now. Obama care will cause the costs of health care to sky rocket and the people will clamor for universal care. It is the plan.

You're absolutely right. Check this if you've not seen it.

At exactly 1:00 Obama talks about his plan to eliminate employer based health care entirely.
Better watch it quick because I've posted the relevant portion of the interview on other forums from several different youtube sources and the vast majority of those sources have been scrubbed.

Never seen an American leader so diligent in making his own statements disappear from existence.

I don't disagree, but that won't happen on his watch even if he gets a second term. It will take time.

Oh sure. It is a process.
