Perhaps instead of asking why the government has to spend so much maybe we should be asking what are we getting for our money? When corporations and families have problems to fix the cost goes down once the problem is fixed. Apparently not with the government When's the last time they fixed much of anything?
1) Instead of asking why we spend so much on human services programs we should be asking: Why aren't you fixing the problem? What have you done to fix the problem and how can we spend so much on poverty and still have so many poor people?
2) Instead of asking :Why do you spend so much on the military? We should be asking what are you doing to fix the crisis and when will it be fixed so that we can reduce spending?
3) Instead of asking why so much is spent by INS and other programs connected to imigration we could ask: What have you done with all the money we gave you to deal with this problem because it hasn't gotten any better?

Yes, in the real "non-government " world we get through crises and fix problems and then turn resources to other issues. But for how many election cycles have we faced war, in the ME, illegal immigration and "entitlements" as "crises"?

Liberals can't fix anything, they just legislate new budgets to pretend to be doing something. Before any of our problems can be fixed, the liberals have to go. Trump 2016.
