Hillary Clinton denied she knew about the weapons shipments during public testimony (under oath) in early 2013 after the Benghazi terrorist attack.

I have objected to this provision of law before: congress critters lie habitually, I don't see why citizens should be concerned with telling them the truth.

I'm not sure that she had any choice but to lie. Most of everything about America's involvement in the ME is lies. The CIA continues to do its thing to support its corporate masters and that does not include peace in the ME. Peace in the ME would mean far fewer sales of armaments, military vehicles, accessories, robots, munitions, and aircraft. It would cost the military industrial complex billions of dollars if there were peace.
