Petersburg, a city of just 32,000 people, is battling severe budgetary issues. The city is even in danger of losing its garbage pick-up service because of missed payments to the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority.
But Mayor W. Howard Myers says the many people critical of his administration are simply racists out to take him. And he makes his claim in a leaked email that are suggests he is barely literate in the English language.

Yeah, his riting style be impressivs aight . But on the other hand he's just following the shining example set by his federal government and undoubtedly his state governmnt too , complete with a few unfunded mandates no doubt.
That example now spreading to governments across the world is simply that not having money is no reason not to spend money. Don't be silly, money grows on cyber trees anyway.
It makes sense that reality will kick politics in the ass at the local level first. We've been looking for a national or supposed world meltdown. But we all know shit runs down hill. The feds can "print " more cyber money. But when a village needs sand or salt to make their roads passable in the winter or needs to make payroll and can't. That's when the shit is going to hit the fan.
Ironically what will likely happen is that the broke ass state or feds will bail out the broke ass municipalities to hide the true nature of what government debt is doing to the country . But the time will come when they can no longer cover the scam either and then we must rebuild a world where governments don't have access to credir cards.
