Trump appeared on Russian television network as praising President Putin and criticizing U.S. foreign policy.

WASHINGTON—Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump (http://topics.wsj.com/person/T/Donald-Trump/159) criticized more than a decade of U.S. foreign policy and cast doubt on assertions that the Kremlin is attempting to meddle in the U.S. elections during a 10-minute interview broadcast on a television network controlled by the Russian government.

Mr. Trump’s interview, broadcast Thursday evening on RT America (ttps://www.rt.com/usa/358715-trump-larry-king-interview/), came a day after theGOP candidate praised Russian
President (http://www.wsj.com/articles/donald-trump-proposes-ending-sequester-boosting-military-1473269166)Vladimir Putin (http://topics.wsj.com/person/P/Vladimir-Putin/6409) during a national TV appearance. His comments drew fire from other Republicans (http://www.wsj.com/articles/paul-ryan-other-republicans-take-distance-from-donald-trump-after-russia-comments-1473363213), who have been sharply critical of Russia’s behavior in the Middle East and with neighboring countries.

The RT America interview was conducted by the veteran radio and TV personality Larry King (http://topics.wsj.com/person/K/Larry-King/6171). Mr. King prefaced the interview by saying he and Mr. Trump “go back well over 30 years, I consider him a good friend.” Though Mr. King was shown live on the RT America television screen, Mr. Trump had telephoned into the program.

Trump is attempting to send a signal that US foreign policy will not be so antagonistic and suicidal should he be elected.

What's he's doing is smart, and what you're attempting to defend is suicidal. Hillary will drag us headlong into a global confrontation with Russia if she continues her directly confrontational policies.

It's obvious.

To Russia, imbecile.

There is the correct type - the type that grinds your gears - and the type which isn't.

Thanks for participating. Someone needs to be grist, after all.

He wrote US citizens. It's right there in plain text. Did your cognitive dissonance kick in again? Why would you ask what citizens?

You know: the citizens to whom he's pledged. What citizens?

You further demonstrate the weakness of the leftist mind.

Hillary Clinton's stance towards Russia is batshit insane, so loony and dangerous that it alone makes her far less qualified and a far more dangerous choice than Trump.

An American Presidential candidate appearing on a Russian network, controlled by a dictator and a thug, to criticize the foreign policy of a sitting President.

Disgraceful. Utter disgraceful.

Any American who is aware of this should be angered and ashamed.

How is it any different than this:

While traveling overseas on official business Thursday, President Obama couldn’t resist wading into political matters back home, sparking controversy by saying foreign leaders are “rattled” by the rise of presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Obama, saying leaders have "good reason" to feel that way, made the remarks on the sidelines of a Group of Seven economic summit in Japan.
"They are rattled by it — and for good reason," Obama said. "Because a lot of the proposals he has made display either ignorance of world affairs, or a cavalier attitude, or an interest in getting tweets and headlines."
He contrasted that with proposals he said thoughtfully address what's required to keep the U.S. safe and "to keep the world on an even keel."

Our president, and the dnc nominee, are trash who want to unnecessarily antagonize another world power. Trump is being sensible. The dangerous psychopaths should be shamed and exposed.

No, it wasn't a smart move on his part.

Criticizing current foreign policy is fine. There's plenty to criticize, but he should do it here not overseas. He should be addressing that issue only to the American people.

It really is quite dangerous and deluded, and it's not even something she came up with on her own. Rather, it is being fed to her by the same neocon lunatics who gave us Iraq, Libya, and Syria, among others. But that's Hillary Clinton for you... a soulless puppet who will do whatever the banks and arms manufacturers tell her to do.

And don't you dare question the wisdom or sanity of her aggressive stance towards Russia, otherwise the Clinton cadre will accuse you of being one of Putin's stooges. Because we all know your years of posting on internet forums is just a front for the Kremlin. C'mon, fess up you commie.

Right, because once he sets foot on foreign soil, any words coming out of his mouth suddenly take on magical properties that serve to hurt us all. I can feel a tingle deep in the cockles of my heart.

Opposing candidates criticizing each other's foreign policy is fine and expected.

I am a little disappointed by his use of RT, especially with all the hoopla about his Russian connections at the moment. Kind of a stupid thing to do IMHO.
