Trader on the BBC says Eurozone Market will crash (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC19fEqR5bA#ws)

Interesting video...not sure how we as individuals can really prepare for this. I think we are more safe here in the States but if the Euro collapses as is looking likely will that make the dollar stronger? Even if it does won't the worldwide recession get worse? T bills don't seem like safe harbor to me. What do you guys think?

Even though gold is ridiculously high right now, it probably makes sense to buy in. The euro is going to collapse, people will be looking for 'safe harbor' and the dollar is too exposed I think to really benefit. Treasury Bills aren't pay crap right now with these interest rates. I would guess a gold index fund would be the way to go.

It's an Alpaca reference.

Yes. There's also a wet dog. All three appear similar.

So it's a common mistake:

Alpaca (Vicugna pacos) is a domesticated species of South American camelid. It resembles a small llama in appearance.

Alpacas are kept in herds that graze on the level heights of the Andes of southern Peru, northern Bolivia, Ecuador, and northern Chile at an altitude of 3,500 m (11,500 ft) to 5,000 m (16,000 ft) above sea-level, throughout the year.[1] Alpacas are considerably smaller than llamas, and unlike llamas, alpacas were not bred to be beasts of burden but were bred specifically for their fiber. Alpaca fiber is used for making knitted and woven items, similar to wool. These items include blankets, sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves, a wide variety of textiles and ponchos in South America, and sweaters, socks, coats and bedding in other parts of the world. The fiber comes in more than 52 natural colors as classified in Peru, 12 as classified in Australia and 16 as classified in the United States.[2]

:D I can just imagine the Alpaca following you everywhere. On the plains of Bolivia, there's nowhere to hide! :o :o

Yes, much like the fat chick from earlier today, I will believe that girl's face is distorted too. That will make me feel better about making fun of her and keep me from feeling sorry for her at the same time. Cap'n is right though I bet her body is smoking. ;)
