I haven't seen the movie yet, but given this review by People's World (http://peoplesworld.org/looper-is-a-neo-noir-mind-bender-done-right/), I'm looking forward to checking out Looper. I've heard multiple people say that it's good.

Okay, got to see it: Pretty good movie! On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it an 8.5.

Well, that is a pretty good rating. Is it primarily an action flick, a drama, or a thriller?

Looper was a great movie! It had everything in it, drama, suspense & action. And the story was quite easy to follow as well.

I give it about a 8 as well.

Very favourable write up from the Daily Telegraph team a few weeks ago , and they set a very high critical bar . Mister Willis was complimented . But I have yet to see it with all the big Oscar nominated films whirling around .
Incidentally BAFTA liked Argo best last night . Must be near Oscar favourite now though Lincoln might have obvious local appeal--- difficult to be unkind about it though it was rather narrow in content overall and came close to being boring at times because of its duration , imo .
